CSA+Capstone is seeking a Collective Trainer to act as a recognized technical expert in base labor category description.
These positions are contingent upon award.

Responsibilities

  • Functions as an individual contributor in at least one of the six Army WfF.
  • Utilizes expertise and experience in staff training best practices, industry requirements and information technology disciplines to develop technical and training solutions in support of Army mission command training.
  • Has a high level of diverse technical and industry experience related to a specific skill set.
  • Typically has specialization in a particular technology or WfF.
  • Remains current on doctrinal, operational, and tactical training methodology as well as technological developments and trends.
  • Requires approximately two years additional experience over the Training and Development Specialist.
  • Advanced degree or significant equivalent experience required.
  • Plans, coordinates, and executes unit collective training at squad to corps echelons.
  • Assists unit leadership in planning collective training that will meet their training objectives.
  • Identifies any gaps (resource, training, equipment, etc.) and works with the management team to ensure they are filled prior to execution of training.
  • Serves in a mentorship or observer/trainer role when requested.
  • Gathers observations based on unit actions during the training event and provides input to unit AARs.
  • Maintains a comprehensive repository of relevant TTPs.

Qualificaitions

  • DoD Secret Clearance
  • Specialist Level III Qualifications
  • Experience: Requires at least 8 years' related experience in instructional development.
  • Advanced knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in technology-based training as well as the use and application of off-the-shelf tools and associated equipment and systems.
  • Qualification to operate at least two Army MCIS.
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience with military training and training support.
  • Required: Completed the Army CGSC, ILE, the Army Warrant Officer Advanced Course, the Army Battle Staff Course, served as a Digital Master Gunner with ASI 5C identifier, or served as an Operations Sergeant Major or Operations Sergeant in a BN, BDE, DIV, or Corps command post.

  • Specialist Level IV Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree, subject immaterial. Graduate of the Army CGSC or ILE or equivalent level military schooling. Experience:
  • Minimum 10 years' related experience in instructional development.
  • Required: Advanced knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in technology-based training as well as the use and application of off-the-shelf tools and associated equipment and systems. A background of at least 10 years' experience with military training and training support.
  • Previous experience in operations and training requirements at BDE or higher level. Successfully served as a former BN/BDE S3 or XO.
