Job Summary

Act as subject matter expert for assigned products, providing support for client operations, ongoing development, and maintenance activities. Works to ensure that product service levels are met, researches and documents bugs, and coordinates the execution and validation of product upgrades and environment maintenance.

Essential Functions

  • Coordinates product activities across architecture, engineering, support, development and the client (as appropriate) to ensure service levels are met
  • Coordinates and drives compliance with change control policies and processes across all products
  • Participates in product maintenance activities
  • Provides production support for internal and client use of the product
  • Facilitates client case management across functional teams for product
  • Interacts with Business Analysts during the software build or configuration and testing process and development teams for issue resolution and enhancement requests
  • Performs technical application configuration and configure /run reports at user request; Researches product behavior
  • Designs and/or executes unit, system and integration test plans for new developments/releases/reports
  • Maintains technical documentation based on standard operating procedures in support of the assigned application and/or client account
  • Identifies the common causes of defects, prioritize them and systematically remove them
  • Coordinates maintenance events
  • Leads the process of proposing solutions to client requirements/problems, identifying dependencies and communicates the risks
  • Leads the account delivery for a workstream- clinical, custom services, integration
  • Support encounter data reporting processes for EDPS and EDGE server, including tracking, reporting, and resolving rejection
  • Conducts gap analysis and data validation, identifying possible issues in data submission and determining financial impact.
  • Analyzes and reconciles claims and encounter data which will include 837 EDI encounter files for EDPS and XML files Edge Server submission files
  • Perform research in the encounter management system and liaison with the CSSC Helpdesk for exception resolution
  • Perform ACA and MA Submissions for Clients

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
  • 4-7 years relevant work experience (Preferred)
  • 5 10 years extensive experience in technical support, analysis, project management, or related functions (Required)
  • Compliance with L1 internal certification program (Required)
  • SQL Experience is preferred
  • Up to 5% travel may be required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Displays advanced level knowledge of the following: Allscripts Solutions, supported applications and knowledge of Allscripts clients and familiarity with the healthcare industry in general Software support experience demonstrating troubleshooting / analytical skills Software development life cycle Configuring and using one or more applications or components Project Management May be involved in multiple domains and products, as well as building cross-functional approach; Amazon Redshift, PostgreSQL, CognitiPro experience is a plus for data analysis and querying
