Summary:
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the safe receipt, storage, retrieval and timely dispatch of goods. The incumbent will also oversee warehouse associates to ensure completion of daily tasks and responsibilities are
Essential Functions:
Motivate, organize and encourage teamwork within the work group to ensure targets are met
Monitor the performance and progress of staff personnel
Train employees in the safe operation of forklifts and warehousing equipment
Receives/ships stock via truck shipments
Pulls stock to fulfill customer orders utilizing forklifts and other material handling equipment
Enters received stock into computer inventory system
Creates a safe and efficient operation of the warehouse
Processes the daily billing
Qualifications to Meet Minimum Requirements:
Requires High school diploma or equivalent GED; Bachelor's Degree preferred
Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience
Ability to lead and motivate others and to perform associated paperwork.
Ability to lift to 50 pounds
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively
Working knowledge of warehousing operations
Ability to use computer system to record materials received and shipped
Physical ability to assist with warehouse operations
