The CVOR First Assist Surgical Technologist will work in collaboration with all members of the Cardiovascular OR Team, including Surgeons, Anesthesia, RNs, and fellow Technologists to ensure safe patient care in the OR setting. The Surgical Tech First Assist will provide critical support to the physician intraoperatively, overseeing appropriate and safe handling of surgical instruments, as well as providing effective communication to the CVOR Team regarding the surgeon's requests and needs.

Requirements for the CVOR First Assist Surgical Tech role include:

• 1+ years of experience in Cardiovascular OR CVOR


• Certification in CSA Certified Surgical Assistant or CSFA Certified Surgical First Assistant
