What You’ll Get to Do!
The Site Supervisor will focus on administrative, safety, logistics, human resources, records management, financial and the overall performance of the site. The Site Supervisor will support established workflows, policies, procedures, and protocols. This includes supervising a large workforce (both on and off site). The ideal candidate will possess strong and effective leadership skills as well as a demonstrated ability to work effectively with various levels of staff, management, and government personnel. In addition, the position is expected to oversee and coordinate all aspects of day-to-day operations and competently respond to any situation that may arise and possess the flexibility to adjust to project demands.
This is a project-based job lasting 2-6 months (length depends on your availability and the need for trips). You will be based in El Paso, TX, for the duration of this project.
Key functions you will perform!
Supervises daily office operations, verifies all electronic systems are functioning
Oversees employees daily and weekly work schedules in the company’s scheduling database
Maintains constant communication with employees, other departments, executive management, high level authorities between agencies to ensure operations runs smoothly and without interruptions or delays.
Ensures operational plans adhere to the highest relevant safety standards, are planned and communicated in advance, and are professionally implemented
Makes sound recommendations on operations/process improvements that require immediate response
Overseas multiple responsibilities simultaneously and provides required reports and updates to management
Reviews employee training status and certifications, if applicable, to stay current and meet all contractual requirements
Recommends employees who require refresher or additional training, if needed
Participates and supports program training requirements in coordination with the Deputy Program Manager; provides recommendations on changes and enhancements to training program elements; may update training documents as necessary
Monitors, coaches and mentor staff and their performance; develops collaborative relationships and promotes a team-oriented culture
Leads and participates in daily meetings with staff members and management
Counsel and discipline employees
Occasionally does transportation for the program as needed
Adds, updates, and verifies information pertaining to work requests and personnel changes into the company’s scheduling system and HRIS
Enforces program changes as specified by the MVM Program Manager; disseminates guidance to team members
Works closely with the Site Manager and Deputy Program Manager on a variety of tasks and projects pertaining to the operation
Oversees logistics staff, schedules, dispatches of vehicles and drivers, monitors speeding levels and provides the appropriate support
Supervises the corporate vehicle maintenance and program; ensures vehicles are cleaned, fueled and ready for trips
Reviews records, logs, and maintain reports for all project expendable and non-expendable supplies
Reviews inventory system against actual inventory of uniforms, office equipment, supplies etc.
Reconciles inventory and reports in accordance to work orders
Employees may be assigned to overnight, weekends, or holiday shifts to support 24/7 operations.
What you will need to have:
Bachelor’s degree, or more than four (4) years of related work experience.
Have at least two (2) years or more of documented experience in a field related to social work or similar occupational area.
5 (+) years working and supporting government contracting
Valid driver's License, clean driving record
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills and possess sound problem-solving skills
Available to work afternoon/evening shift; Must be able to work overnight, weekends and holidays as needed
Investigative and report writing experience
Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and integrity
Able to work effectively with minimal supervision and with minimal direction
Able to travel within the United States. Roughly 30% travel time.
Must have lived in the US for at least three (3) of the last five (5) years
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Bilingual
Local to the area (please note only local candidates will be considered)
Security Requirements:
U.S. Citizen or Green Card/Permanent resident. Non-U.S. Citizen must have lived in the US for 3 out of the past 5 years
Ability to obtain/maintain a Security Clearance
Favorable credit check
