Job Description
The Mobile Therapist is a member of the Wraparound team. Wraparound provides behavioral health treatment to children up to age 21 who have a mental health diagnosis or Autism Spectrum Disorder. The services use professional staff and natural supports to literally "wrap" services around an identified child and the child's family. Services can be provided in the child's home, community, and school.

Wraparound services include:
Autism and behavioral expertise to help families in creating an individual treatment plan based on their goals and objectives. Using community resources to achieve maximum improvement in the child's function with minimal disruption to the family unit.

CORE COMPETENCIES:

• Provide individual family therapy to children/adolescents/families on caseload at a frequency specified in the Comprehensive Treatment Plan.


• Complete documentation of interventions in the form of progress notes in the format and time constraints as required.


• Gain input on child and family from other professional and paraprofessional sources as appropriate, (schools, institutions, hospitals, etc.).


• Attend and participate in supervision, case consultations, clinical teams, team meetings, master treatment planning meetings and inter-agency meetings as scheduled and appropriate and supply all necessary reports.


• Conduct psychosocial assessment reports to team members.

REQUIREMENTS:

ACADEMIC -

1. Licensed mental health professional, including;
   
   
   1. Licensed professional counselor
   
   
   2. Licensed marriage and family therapist
   
   
   3. Licensed social worker OR-
   
   


2. Person with a graduate-master level mental health degree in a mental health field, such as;
   
   
   1. Psychology
   
   
   2. Mental health counseling
   
   
   3. Social work*
   
   

AND at least one (1) year of work experience in a CASSP system

*If the mental health field is not one of the degrees listed above, then at least 50% of the graduate-master level course work must be specific to the mental health field (a minimum of 12 advanced graduate-mater level mental health credits) AND must include a clinical mental health practicum or internship.

All licenses must be valid and meet requirements in accordance with Pennsylvania Department of State.

All degrees and coursework must be from an accredited program and/or university or college in accordance with Policy Clarification 02-11 dates June 9, 2010 and be conferred by the university or college.

OTHER -

1. Must have audio/visual/verbal activity to provide supervision for the clients and to perform essential job functions.


2. Must complete and pass agency Crisis/Physical Intervention Training - Modified.


3. Must have emotional stability to perform essential job functions.


4. Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record and transportation.


5. Ability to adjust hours to job requirements including evenings and weekends.


6. Must possess good written and verbal communication skills.


7. Must have access to a telephone.


8. Must be eligible for PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse History clearance and FBI clearance.


9. Availability for monthly supervision with clinical supervisor.
