Job Description:

Batesville is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Vicksburg, MS! As a Manufacturing Engineer you are responsible for overseeing and improving manufacturing processes throughout our plant. Responsibilities include identify areas for improvement, maintaining high levels of product quality, designing new products and processes, and ensuring cost-efficiency and conformance with regulatory standards. You'll analyze operations and design workflows to reduce loss, while meeting customer needs. Ultimately, you'll get to work with organizational leaders and other engineers to maximize productivity and reduce wastefulness throughout the plant.

What you'll do:

• Evaluating existing manufacturing processes and identifying areas for improvement.
• Determining problem resolutions and implementing improvements.
• Developing detailed layouts for equipment, processes, and workflow.
• Researching and developing new processes, equipment, and products.
• Developing and implementing cost-saving measures and quality control systems.
• Ensuring manufacturing processes, equipment, and products comply with safety standards and legal regulations.
• Maintaining research and activity documentation and preparing reports.
• Develop design and production standards in cooperation with management and user personnel.
• Prepare material and equipment lists, purchase orders, cost analysis, and estimated production costs.
• Design the layout of facilities and determine personnel requirements.
• Train staff for new processes and provide instructions and manuals.
• Ensure that the quality, safety, and industry standards are adhered to.
• Other duties may be assigned

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in manufacturing, industrial, mechanical, or electrical engineering
• 3+ years of work experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, or similar position
• Advanced knowledge of troubleshooting production machinery, processes, and standards

Great to Haves :

• Experience using CAD, CAM, data analysis, and related software
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• High level of technical expertise
