Position Summary:

Under General direction of the Director of Operations, the Manufacturing Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating processes and personnel (Production supervisor & direct labor, Manufacturing Engineering, Operational Excellence, Environmental Health & Safety, and Facilities & Maintenance) directly relating to Operations Management policies and procedures.

How You Will Do It

• Ensure shipment plans are executed and key KPI's are met (On-time delivery, past due, revenue, yield)
• Develop and implement policies & procedures to support Production Management
• Manage activities and personnel relating to Production Management and to mitigate risks to PDT
• Training of Personnel in Best Practices and Lean concepts
• Coordinates and recommends facility and equipment maintenance, expansions or modifications.
• Deploy Standard Work Practices to reduce variation in production
• Collaborate with Production Control Manager on resource Scheduling to meet production goals
• Support Proposal/Contracts and Design Development processes.
• Track and report KPI's to the Director of Operations
• Ensure a safe & compliant workplace (EH&S)

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering and/or Business Administration is preferred
• 3-5 years' leading manufacturing with experience in OPEX/LEAN Principles is preferred.
• Experience in leading and developing personnel

• Manufacturing in Aerospace, Commercial and Defense Industries is preferred.
• Experience with Government Regulations
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles - Identifying and eliminating waste from Manufacturing Management processes, bringing improvements in quality, cost and delivery
