The Vice President for Global Execution is accountable for driving, developing, and integrating our centers of competence/excellence (CoEs) within the Global Execution & Sustainability (GES) landscape. Currently, this includes four major bodies of work within the Targeted Technologies Team (T3), Overhead Systems (OHS), Circular Sorters/Crossbelt (XB), and Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS); as well as harmonizing efforts around GES Capacity Planning for all teams and functions. Scope of work will be inclusive of :
Driving effective alignment, management, and process-focused utilization of our various CoEs.
Strategically leveraging Capacity Management to determine short and long-term direct talent needs and workforce management.
Strategic Growth footprint of CoEs to ensure representation and expansion to each super region, in addition to build strength within various regional and global hubs.
Leading and improving global capabilities around specialized knowledge contained within CoEs to ensure technical knowledge transfer outside of the CoEs; will include partnerships within and outside of the GES function to build learning and training programs.
Working closely with functional and regional peers to prioritize programs and ensure capabilities are built in alignment with the full project execution process.
The Global Engineering Leader will lead a highly capable team dedicated to developing GPE capabilities with three focused goals around Engineering Methodology Standardization, Global Process & Continuous Improvement, and Employee Technical Development.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Develop and lead newly formed Global Execution Organization (within Global Execution & Sustainability) focused on maturing our majors areas of work.
In partnership with Strategy and Demand Planning, expand applicable metrics across direct teams to better enhance workforce planning relative to ebbs and flows of project demands.
In leading the Targeted Technologies Team, partner with the Dematic technical community to ensure completion of deliverables required for effective new technology deployment.
Leverage various sources of input internally and externally to the organization to define, recalibrate, and deliver critical continuous improvement outcomes across CoE landscape.
Deliver sound value through effective budgeting, compelling payback, and performance versus such financial elements.
Setting standard work, deliverables, and methodologies for engineering and project execution of represented solutions and technologies for further deployment into Project Execution teams.

Tasks and Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor of Science in engineering or equivalent, required
10+ years of leading Engineering Centers of Competence preferred.
MS engineering or MBA, preferred
PMP certification, preferred
Lean or Six Sigma certifications beneficial; equivalent Company training programs in Lean may also considered
15+ years experience in engineering and/or product management with demonstrated experience in process development
Functional leadership and expert communications
Excellent organizational skills with a proven track record of continuous improvement
Self-starter with demonstrated ability to influence and deliver on capability-building programs
Excellent time management skills
Leadership skills to drive for results and act appropriately under pressure
Leadership skills to hire, onboard, and coach teams highly effective in driving capability improvements

Collaborative and effective team player and able to work with teams who are globally dispersed
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and data management software (SAP preferred)
Travel as required by job, estimated at 20-40%

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be USD $200,000.00 - $300,000.00 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
