General Laborer (Irving, TX) - Austin Commercial at Austin Commercial, LP

Job Description:

Austin Commercial is currently seeking a general laborer for our Irving, Texas equipment yard. They are responsible for general support at our yard with items such as cleaning, loading and unloading materials, and moving equipment as needed.


 


General work schedule: Monday through Friday; 8 hour shift plus overtime as needed.


 


Work environment: Indoor and outdoor.


 


Responsibilities



  • Assist with washing various construction equipment

  • Perform general cleanup of shop and yard, such as sweeping and removing trash

  • Performs general maintenance duties to ensure a clean and safe environment

  • Follows all company safety policies and procedures

  • Load or unload materials as needed

  • Travel to various job sites as needed with company vehicle to pick up/drop off equipment

  • Additional duties as assigned


 


Requirements:



  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

  • Trainable and willing to perform multiple tasks as needed

  • Work in different weather environments

  • Basic computer skills

  • For safety reasons, it is imperative that the employee be able to read and speak fluent English.
