Job Summary



We are looking for a Salesforce Administrator / Project Manager to be a team member involved in the design and implementation of Salesforce solutions. This role is responsible for translating the business and functional requirements for each solution (the what) into the technical deliverables with the Salesforce team and external development teams (the how). The position would be ideally located on a hybrid schedule at our corporate office in Atlanta, but we are open to considering remote candidates.



Responsibilities




  • Create and execute project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
  • Convert business requirements as specified in capabilities, features, user stories, acceptance criteria and constraints into systems components
  • Develop non-functional requirements for a program / solution, and work with the development teams to ensure these requirements are fulfilled in user stories, acceptance criteria and validated with test cases
  • Design & develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform to support critical business functions and meet project objectives, client requirements and company goals
  • Manage daily support and maintenance of internal Salesforce instance, and conduct long-term improvement operations to ensure compatibility with evolving mission requirements
  • Communicate with stakeholders and developers to design cohesive project strategies and ensure effective collaboration throughout all phases of development, testing and deployment
  • Prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures
  • Identify and manage project risk
  • Interact directly with clients, managers and end users as necessary to analyze project objectives and capability requirements, including specifications for user interfaces, customized applications and interactions with internal Salesforce instances
  • Provide system administration support of internal and customer-facing Salesforce environment, especially related to customized applications, user permissions, security settings, custom objects and workflow
  • Collaborate with various internal departments, including marketing, IT and operations, to ensure Salesforce environment supports internal needs relating to functionality and performance



Requirements




  • Bachelor's degree in computer science
  • Minimum work experience: 3+ years managing Salesforce (SFDC) projects, with end-to-end implementation experience
  • Minimum work experience: 3+ years of Salesforce administration with a strong Service Oriented Architecture and integration background
  • Experience in designing and developing software components a plus
  • Salesforce.com integration experience, including between different business systems as well as working with integration tools
  • Proficient with Apex, VisualForce, MySQL and JavaScript
  • Experience with Salesforce Communities
  • Experience managing 3rd party implementation vendors
  • Self-motivated and creative



Preferred




  • Salesforce Administrator Certification
  • Experience developing customer-facing user interfaces
  • Experience with Agile SCRUM methods
