These manufacturing systems are critical to our manufacturing plants to track inventory, ensure quality of shipped parts, and interface financial data to our ERP systems as well as integrate with other systems to ensure we ship conforming product to our customer and industry requirements.
This role requires extensive interaction with functional and IT resources across the business making effective communication skills essential. Project and support collaboration occurs daily with the plants and business unit functional teams across the globe. The qualified candidate must be a self-starter capable of managing medium sized projects, working independently, and leading a small team.
Position can be located at any Howmet Engines System location.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide day to day management to a small team of internal and external developers and support personnel.
Work directly with the plants to build requirements for business solutions, ensuring a common approach across the business unit.
Align with and deploy the long-term manufacturing systems vision for the business unit.
Provide application support within the business unit, including business process recommendations, application configuration, and application testing.
Execute job functions in alignment with all internal and external audit and compliance processes and requirements.
