As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist with Vitalant, you support our life saving mission by providing skilled technical support in the laboratory as you perform high complexity testing of patient and donor biological specimens.  

Whether you are a newly graduated or experienced Clinical Laboratory Scientist, Vitalant offers varying levels for a Clinical Laboratory Scientist I, II or III based on skill level and experience. We encourage you to apply today!  

What you have… 

Education	Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent
Experience	None
License/Certification	Clinical Laboratory Scientist - State of California required
	Medical Laboratory Science Certification or able to obtain within 6 months of hire

 

What you will do… 

• Performs high complexity testing in immunohematology (e.g., antibody identification, antigen typing, absorptions, and elutions) 


• Provide technical support to hospital transfusion services 


• Review and report test results, participate in investigative studies, participate in quality control, preventative maintenance, and validations.
