City Experiences is seeking a HR Intern - Benefits for our Business operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Assist port HR team with Day 1 Orientation, job fairs, leave management, training and development initiatives, and employee relations activities

  • Support HR team by performing requested administrative tasks such as research, responding to crew inquiries, and maintaining records

  • Perform personnel file audits as assigned

  • Participate in additional learning opportunities and intern meetings as required

  • Successful completion of required Wheelhouse University courses

  • Complete all tasks related to an internship project as determined by your HR Leader

  • Additional job duties assigned


Requirements & Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree.

  • Available to work the assigned season

  • Energetic and enthusiastic personality is essential

  • Must be able to convey written and verbal information effectively to guests and coworkers.

  • Must possess a service orientation – actively looking for ways to help others.

  • Basic computer skills required, including the Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • Ability to work for extended periods without sitting.

  • Availability to work weekends and some holidays.

  • Self-starter, capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Highly efficient team player, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, fluid environment.

  • Be process and quality-oriented, with sharp attention to detail.

  • Have excellent presentation skills.

  • Dependent on additional duties assigned, be able to lift furniture or other heavy items up and downstairs.
