Accelerate the delivery of concrete, data-driven insights that supply to all parts of B2B Marketing & Sales in North America (NA). This position requires the candidate to clearly articulate business needs, translate to analytical/technical requirements, drive the evolution of analytical solutions and communicate business value. Assist to further advancement of analytics maturity and to the overall digital transformation within Michelin.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Data & Analytics
Act as domain authority on appropriate data sources and analytical methodology
Collects, selects, and validates data that is relevant to the analysis.
Interprets sophisticated dataset, analyzes results, identifies trends and/or avenues for action, and makes recommendations based on the analysis of collected data
Synthesizes and prioritizes analysis in data visualization tools.
Analytics Translation
Provide thought leadership in articulating the business problem into an analytical framework
Be a thought partner to NA Business teams in creation of use cases and influence solution development based on analytical approaches - from prioritisation and detailing business requirements, identifying success criteria and measuring outcomes
Translate business needs to analytical/ technical requirements
Represent the business in aligning with other entities on the development of analytical solutions and advancing data literacy by advocating Digital Transformation and Data Democratization initiatives
Innovation/Continuous Improvement
Identify emerging technologies within the analytics space to amplify analyses
Explore relevant secondary data sources to continuously make analyses more robust
Identify and analyze regional and global trends that impact Marketing & Sales, Michelin and the Tire Industry as a whole
Focus on continuous improvement opportunities and expediting processes through automation
Continuously elevate expertise by demonstrating various sources, e.g., virtual conferences, webinars, internal learning development platform
Skills/Background Required:
Strong analytical/quantitative skills with the ability to identify, collect, coordinate, and analyze data - from primary and secondary sources, qualitative and quantitative, structured and unstructured
Superb communication and presentation skills
Proficiency in the application of statistical methodologies to solve business problems and ability to simplify interpretation of results
Technical proficiency in Data Engineering with Python, PySpark, Azure Factory and Databricks
Expertise in developing visualizations that tell the story using BI Tools, e.g., Power BI
Proficiency in database design development, data modeling and programming, e.g., SQL (knowledge of open-source programming a plus)
Experience in the use of reporting packages, e.g. MicroStrategy
Familiarity with Cloud platforms, e.g., Microsoft Azure
Critical thinking
Accuracy and attention to detail
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, or related area
Graduate degree preferred, but not required
3-5 years of proven track record in analytics
