Job Title: Senior Production Designer

About the Position

The Senior Production Designer provides graphic design solutions and deliverables for the organization's marketing and graphic design needs while adhering to Evergreen Goodwill brand guidelines. This role will work primarily on expanding design concepts to multiple forms of deliverables while maintaining the overall look and consistency of the design and brand. Additionally, they will be instrumental in the development of template building and automation.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.

Design & Production:


  • Design and produce materials for Evergreen Goodwill that follow the organization's established brand guidelines. Deliverables may include flyers, presentations, printed reports, retail signage, emails, social media graphics, marketing collateral, vehicle wraps etc.

  • Work with the Marketing & Communication (MarCom) team to design webpage layouts.

  • Conduct photo editing.

  • Create design templates and automation tools leveraging variable data sets and integration with other platforms.

  • Develop creative forms of integration to reduce long-term workloads and provide creative tools to other internal company partners.

  • Collaborates with and creative manager to define specs for new deliverables.

  • Thoroughly reviews printer proofs for accuracy.

  • Coordinate file handoff, reviews, and proofing with outside vendors.

  • Demonstrates safe work practices through awareness and observation in support of a safety culture; reports any potential hazards or accidents.

  • Other duties as assigned.


Project Management:

  • Self-manage project deliverables, and effectively communicate with team members, creative manager, and marketing manager.

  • Resolve and provide deadline issues and provides solution scenarios with the creative manager and project coordinator.

Required Education & Experience:


  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience working in a similar role

  • Strong experience with layout design and print production guidelines/mechanicals.

  • Familiarity with basic HTML and the technical considerations needed when designing for the web.

  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently and have strong typography and layout design skills.

  • Must have solid typographic skills, including a good eye for hierarchy and layout.

  • Strong portfolio showcasing relative professional work within the creative industry.

  • Self-motivated, flexible thinker, who is willing to bring original ideas forward.

  • Excellent follow-through and attention to detail in design and technical projects.

  • Experience with photography, color correction and photo manipulation.


  • Experience designing and producing signage for brick & mortar retail environments.

  • Skillfully self-directs and ability to quickly learn new programs and applications.

  • Ability to take input and critiques from internal client groups.

  • Proficiently designs and presents high quality creative concepts from scratch, utilizing strong typography, color and layout skills.

  • Ability to contribute to concept, content, and design of creative projects.

  • Efficient both when working independently and collaborating with a team.

Certificates, Licenses, or Registrations: N/A

Computer/Technology Skills:


  • Advanced knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator

  • Skilled in Adobe Premiere and Audition.

  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint.

  • Ability to learn new technology and software as related to the job.

Physical Abilities:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required sit for long periods of time, communicate with other employees by talking and hearing, required to lift and carry items weighing up to 15 pounds and to operate computer systems. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Able to communicate with others effectively both verbally and written, including those who have limited English skills. Maintain reliable attendance.

Work Environment: This role has the option for hybrid work arrangements is expected to be able to attend in-person meetings and events as needed. Office environment, moderate noise level.
