As a Software Engineer LD within PNC's Retail MIS Incentives and Reporting organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or remote. This position can sit within the PNC footprint, although it may not be available in all jurisdictions. Certain job responsibilities may require in-person, in office activities on a regular basis .

Our team provides exceptional customer service to our corporate business partners, across several different Lines of Business, to help them manage and automate their incentive plans and reporting for various products throughout the bank.

Looking for a Full Stack Developer that will be part of an Agile crew, involved in all phases of the SDLC. Developers on the team interact with business users and utilize a variety of challenging technical skills. Candidate will help the team move applications forward in support of our Retail Technology Strategy.

Looking for experience on several of the following technologies, but would not be expected to have all:
• Experience on multiple platforms, and the ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies
• Experience troubleshooting on several environments
• Informatica ETL Experience
• Database Experience (Oracle (PL/SQL), Teradata, MS Sql Server, etc), performance tuning
• Unix/Linux, Power Shell/Scripting Technologies would be a plus
• OBIEE, BI Publisher/BI, Tableau tools, or willing to learn would be a plus
• .NET – MVC experience would be a plus
• APIs and Java would be a plus
• Hadoop experience would be a plus
• Knowledge of TFS, Sharepoint, and uDeploy would be beneficial
• Experience with Jira and working on an Agile Scrum Crew would also be beneficial

Packaged Application Integration – Knowledge of and the ability to implement packaged application software and integrate it with company applications, databases and technology platforms.

System Development Life Cycle – Knowledge of project management techniques and the ability to plan, design, develop, test, implement and maintain system development life cycle segments and phases.

Technical Troubleshooting – Knowledge of technical troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques, and the ability to anticipate, recognize, and resolve technical (hardware, software, application or operational) problems.

Work Experience

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience. Certifications are often desired. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
