Summary

The Cigna Collaborative Care Analytics & Market Support team is hiring an analytics advisory to lead the preparation of performance analytics and reconciliations of value based contracts. This role is an essential support role in our fee for value programs as the analytics support the ongoing operational support and program evolution for our provider partners. We are seeking an analyst who has experience working in the value based care environment and working with healthcare claims data. The person in this role will work directly with our market field teams and support our external provider partners in our fee for value programs. The Market Support Analyst will help conduct analyses related to cost, quality, and utilization and create insightful reporting for our provider partners that highlights areas of opportunity for mutual success in these programs.

This position is with Evernorth, a new business within the Cigna Corporation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with matrix business partners to design and develop insightful reporting


• Present analysis and results in a concise and digestible way to internal and external audiences with varied backgrounds (e.g. clinical, business, analytics)


• Design and lead analysis of healthcare claims data


• Perform research and analysis of key drivers and changes of provider performance and communicate information to program leads and matrix leadership


• Assist with case level analysis and requests as needed


• Communicate the analytic and financial results in a clear, concise manner while tying the insights to the business needs


• Develop a thorough knowledge of systems, processes, and methodologies related to Cigna's value based programs and communicate relevant information to technical and non-technical audiences


• Conduct or participate in moderate or complex financial analyses and/or reporting


• Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with vendors, matrix partners, and team members


• Work within a fast-paced environment, while balancing deadlines and needs from multiple stakeholders

Qualifications

• 2+ years' of healthcare and/or financial analysis or related work experience


• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills


• Ability to create queries to pull and manipulate data (eg, SQL/Toad)


• Strong analytics based problem solving skills and ability to understand various data structures


• Experience in analyzing large complex, multi-dimensional data sets with a variety of tools


• Ability to design and manage an analytic project


• Proven ability to apply quality checks to ensure data integrity


• Knowledge and familiarity with healthcare claims data; experience in value based care programs a plus

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 90,500 - 150,800 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
