Role Summary
The Onsite Well-Being Coordinator will work closely with the Cigna Account Management Team and Customer's Health and Wellness team in executing the organization's health management goals. The primary focus of the Onsite Well-Being Coordinator is health promotion and benefits education.
In collaboration, with the Cigna account team, the Onsite Well-Being Coordinator executes the appropriate delivery and coordination of wellness programs, community and vendor programs, monitors effectiveness of the programs and partners with the Memphis Shelby County Schools (MSCS) Benefits team to provide customer service resolution support for inquiries. The focus of the Onsite Well-Being Coordinator is primarily the working well population of employees in aggregate. A core objective of this position is to facilitate wellness programs that educate and influence employees at the worksite to lead healthy lifestyles while also supporting client identified customer service needs.
General Responsibilities
1. Collaborate with Employer on Development of Wellness Committee
Collaborate with the employer in formation and facilitation of a wellness committee if one has not already been established and include different levels of employer leadership and employees from the worksite Ongoing collaboration and facilitation of employer wellness committee Review the proposed health promotion strategy with the wellness committee, partnering with the Cigna lead for health and wellness as appropriate
2. Collaborate in development and delivery of promotion campaign
Newsletters, posters, email, raffles, reminders, etc. Overall promotion development and deployment
3. Health Awareness Seminars
End to end coordination of health awareness seminars Deliver single or multi-session workshops on a group basis (lunch and learn) Develop or pull from defined list of wellness topics; may be tailored to population, season, etc. Education for various health related topics (nutrition/healthy eating, physical activity, etc.)
4. Wellness Campaigns
Facilitate health related group activities among population over a defined time period (10K Steps, Resolution Revolution) Focus of campaign is to initiate behavior change and health improvement
5. Wellness Event/Fair
Assist employer HR/Management in coordination of event/fair (member of employer led planning committee) Coordinate/organize/source guest speakers, health assessment, open enrollment, family wellness event, annual biometric event, etc.
6. Wellness Resources
Manage wellness bulletin board and electronic media board. Share health and wellness related educational materials.
7. Benefits Education Support
Assist MSCS Benefits team with triaging escalated claim matters, eligibility access to care issues, pharmacy inquiries billing questions, installation matters, settlement production matters, etc. to the appropriate Cigna representatives. Partner with appropriate internal service organization representatives and matrix partners to resolve client/customer related inquiries and provide resolution outreach to customers while using independent judgment and discretion. Lead and assist with representing Cigna at annual open enrollments meetings, new hire orientation, Wellness/Benefit Fairs and other educational opportunities to review client benefits offerings.
