This 100+ bed community medical center is ranked among the top performers in New Mexico in several key patient care categories. The Hospital Financial Controller will work in a  state-of-the-art facility that offers a wide range of inpatient acute care services such as Emergency Services, Diagnostic Imaging, Heart Care, Critical Care Medicine, Pharmacy, and Surgical Services. This hospital holds a Level III Trauma Designation and is an Accredited Chest Pain Center. They are also fully accredited by The Joint Commission and have been ranked as a Top National Performer on Key Quality Measures for over 5 years.

The Hospital Financial Controller will report directly to the facility’s Chief Financial Officer in order to provide oversight and direction to the hospital’s financial services department. The Hospital Controller will work in collaboration with and be supported by other departments such as Billing, Accounting, and Auditing in order to ensure that the hospital's financial objectives are met. 

The Hospital Financial Controller will spearhead supervisory aspects and responsibilities of the hospital’s finance department. These responsibilities include completion of accounting packages, general ledger maintenance, and compilation of financial statements. They will also create and issue daily, weekly and monthly reports to upper management. The Hospital controller will develop annual budgets, supervise monthly, quarterly and annual tax returns, as well as report any financial issues or discrepancies to the Chief Financial Officer.

This person will be working in the beautiful Eastern New Mexico region, one of the historical landmarks of the Old West.
