Job Description:

Nemours, a nation-wide leader in children's health, has an opening for an experienced health care-oriented Project Manager (Remote) to support our transformation to value based care and population health!

Under guidance, this role will manage multiple small to medium sized projects concurrently while being responsible for ensuring that interdisciplinary projects and teams align with Nemours strategic plans. Incumbent will manage the evaluation, planning and implementation of assigned projects under the guidance of the Lead Project Manager. Work is broad in scope, non-standardized, requiring independent judgment and action as a routine. Multiple priorities are the norm. Responsible for addressing complex problems/challenges.

Qualifications:


  • Experience in Population Health, Practice Transformation, or Healthcare Value-based care projects is required. Projects can include efforts associated with expansion of a Clinically Integrated Network, \\ changes to Primary Care operations, or other related healthcare projects tied to quality improvement, utilization, operational standardization, digital tool deployment etc.
  • Bachelor's degree in a business, healthcare administration, or other related field required. Master's degree is preferred.
  • Demonstrated excellence in organizational, project management and implementation skills and the ability to prioritize, plan, facilitate and execute.
  • Familiarity with value-based payer programs (risk and successful tactics needed to improve quality and generate savings).
  • 5-7+ years demonstrated project coordination or project management
  • Project Management Institute certification or equivalent preferred
  • Training in Lean, continuous improvement, or Quality Improvement framework is desirable.
  • Knowledge of health care operations and health care systems is required
  • Basic knowledge of project management software
  • Experience as a change agent with the ability to influence regardless of the reporting relationships.
  • Proven track record of working collaboratively with payers, physicians
