Senior Project Manager (Remote)

Nemours, a nation-wide leader in children's health, has an opening for an experienced health care-oriented Senior Project Manager to support our transformation to value based care and population health!

This role will independently lead the largest and/or most complex projects to successful outcomes while being responsible for ensuring that interdisciplinary projects and teams align with Nemours strategic plans. Incumbent will manage the evaluation, planning and implementation of assigned projects under the guidance of the Lead Project Manager. Work is broad and far-reaching in its effects. Policy, procedure, and precedent are routinely created and approved at this level. Independent judgment is the routine nature of this job. Requires highly specialized skills and/or knowledge; sets direction and priorities.

Qualifications:

• Experience in Population Health, Practice Transformation, or Healthcare Value-based care projects is required. Projects can include efforts associated with expansion of a Clinically Integrated Network, \\ changes to Primary Care operations, or other related healthcare projects tied to quality improvement, utilization, operational standardization, digital tool deployment etc.
• Master's degree in a graduate business, healthcare administration or other related field is required.
• Demonstrated excellence in organizational, project management and implementation skills and the ability to prioritize, plan, facilitate and execute.
• Familiarity with value-based payer programs (risk and successful tactics needed to improve quality and generate savings).
• Experience in Population Health or Healthcare Value-based projects is required. Projects can include efforts associated with expansion of Clinically Integrated Networks, and Primary Care operations
• 5-7+ years demonstrated project management experience
• Project Management Institute certification or equivalent required.
• Training and experience in Lean, continuous improvement or quality improvement framework is required.
• Knowledge of health care operations and health care systems is required
• Standard knowledge of project management software
• Reputation as a change agent with high degrees of influence regardless of the reporting relationships.
• Proven track record of working collaboratively with payers, physicians
