Job Summary
The Stock Plan Administrator will, under limited supervision, use knowledge and skills obtained through education, training and/or experience to assist in the development and administration of Murphy's employee equity compensation plan and non-employee director compensation plans. This position will also work collaboratively with the Director, Governance and Legal Services on corporate governance matters related to board and executive compensation, compliance with the SEC, NYSE and the Company's Insider Trading Policy.
This role will report to the Director, Governance & Legal Services who in turn reports to the Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary in Murphy's Houston, Texas office.
The Stock Plan Administrator will work in our Houston Corporate office and may work two (2) days a week remote.
Responsibilities
Administer the Company's employee equity compensation and non-employee director compensation plans
Supervise transfer of data from and to external contacts for services and program administration
Create and implement efficient and scalable processes, system automation and integrations for employee equity compensation and non-employee board compensation administration, reporting, etc.
Develop and support the participant experience through training, addressing participant inquiries, creating educational materials, and maintaining the employee LTI portal
Monitor and evaluate emerging and evolving trends and best practices related to the development, implementation, and administration of employee equity compensation and non-employee director compensation programs
Ensure compliance with SEC Section 16b and NYSE reporting and disclosure rules
Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) processes are followed and compile supporting documentation for testing and compliance
Work cross-functionally with other business groups and external stakeholders for disclosures required for proxy reporting
Benchmark and perform gap analysis on executive compensation disclosures and performance
Work collaboratively with executive management and non-employee directors, while always maintaining a high degree of confidentiality
