Roles & Responsibilities

• Performs carpentry responsibilities as determined by the Foreman and / or Project Manager

Qualifications & Education Requirements

• Rough carpentry skills:   framing, exterior trims & decks.


• Finish carpentry skills: interior trims, casing, crowns, windows & cabinetry.


• Can hang & finish drywall.


• Can install insulation & siding.


• Basic painting, plumbing & electrical skills. 


• Basic flooring skills with carpet, wood, tile & vinyl.


• You catch on fast and take direction well.


• You work well independently and without supervision.


• Customer service skills - you're patient, attentive and maintain a positive attitude.


• You're willing to work on other projects as needs arise.


• Can read blueprints, measure and estimate.  


• Can teach and train others. 


• Must have own tools as necessary

 Working Conditions

• May work in cramped spaces


• May work in various elements of weather


• Travel to job sites in personal vehicle

Physical Requirements

• Frequent lifting, standing, kneeling and heavy lifting


• Bending or twisting of body


• Repeat of same movements


• Be physically active for long periods
