Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY:
Provides the highest level of Guest Service. Under supervision, sells amusement tickets, wristbands and up-sells season passes.

UNIQUE JOB REQUIREMENTS:
This is a unique opportunity to join the Boardwalk's great Guest Service Team. Shifts typically fall within possible operating hours of 9:00 am to midnight, seven days a week. Must be a minimum of 16 years old. Must be able to stay focus on the job, dealing with constant interruption and heavy Guest contact. Must be able to do math calculations quickly and accurately. Must enthusiastically communicate the benefits of our Season Pass and actively up-sell to Guest.

JOB TASKS (IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
- Greet every Guest and answer Guest's questions and provide consistent, friendly and helpful guest service.
- Sell ride wristbands and ride tickets to Guests while balancing sales to cash.
- Follow safety procedures and proper lifting techniques.
- Actively up-sell Season Passes and other promotions.
- Display postings of promotions and rides working and/or not working.
- Read, understand and communicate discount coupons, promotions and other important announcements.
- Place ride wristbands on Guest.
- Examine currency to check for counterfeits.
- Perform cleaning duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Ticket Sales Representative - Must provide outstanding Guest Service. Cash register, sales and customer service experience is helpful.
Lead Ticket Sales Representative - Must excel at providing outstanding Guest Service. Must be proficient as Ticket Sales Representative, which may include a season of experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to provide consistent, friendly and helpful service to guests.
- Ability to communicate to Guests to give instructions and directions.
- Ability to respond appropriately to difficult customer service situations.
- Ability to do math calculations quickly and accurately.
- Ability to follow verbal and written directions.
- Ability to provide information about tickets, all day wristbands and up-sell to season pass.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to communicate clearly both verbal and written.
- Ability to operate safely and follow safety procedures.
- Ability to learn cash handling procedures.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to sit and operate point of sale system for up to eight hours at a time.
- Able to see and read instructions and hear guests speaking.
- Bi-manual dexterity.
