Position Title: Business Analyst - Population Health Management



Position Summary:



Coordinates population health initiatives by gathering, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting data to Direct to Employer department leadership and employer partners. Helps develop and drive network wide population health improvement strategies through the delivery of population health analytics. He/she will use understanding of current and developing concepts of the risk stratification, cost mitigation, and population health trends to inform methods and solutions.



What the Business Analyst - Population Health Management will need:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Business, or another related field

  • Valid Michigan driver's license and proof of auto insurance

  • Two years of experience in a healthcare setting. Experience with office management, billing, and/or health plans




What the Business Analyst - Population Health Management will do:



  • Reviews aggregate datasets for both employer and colleague health plans with the intent to mobilize actionable trends into outcomes.

  • Assesses health plan utilization for appropriate use, system leakage (care coordination ratio) and associated cost mitigation strategies.

  • Manages complex, changing reporting schedules for a diverse portfolio of employer clients and colleague health plan needs.

  • Facilitate and manage workgroups to collect and document technical and clinical business system requirements.

  • Plays a key role in the selection and implementation of software solutions related to Population Health Management and trains end users on available tools and management options.
