About the role:

WEG Electric Corp. has a great opportunity for an IT Infrastructure Analyst to join our team in Duluth, GA. This role aids support requests from the US Service Desk for additional or onsite troubleshooting. The role consists of supporting facility IT computing services, devices, applications and site-specific systems and infrastructure hardware and software. This role will liaison with service desk analysts and other members of the US support team ensuring onsite support requests are handled with care, urgency and completed timely. This role will participate and own tasks in onsite and small related IT projects. The individual must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills while providing excellent customer service.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Field incoming support requests from the Service Desk or end users within our ticketing system.
  • Record, track, and document support problems and actions taken to final resolution.
  • Prioritizes and schedule problems. When required, escalate to the appropriate team or analyst.
  • Provide timely feedback to internal customers on support requests.
  • Provide support for PC operational systems for onsite and remote devices. Assist with PC imaging as required.
  • Provide installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting support of computer hardware, software, desktop applications, printers, computer peripherals and other IT related devices.
  • Provide support for unified communications, phones and conference rooms.
  • Test fixes to ensure problem(s) have been adequately resolved.
  • Provide and assist in writing technical and support related documents for knowledge base articles.
  • Assist with application support and/or coordinate with software vendors.
  • Provide support for unified communications, desktop phones and conference rooms.
  • Maintain IT fixed assets, software compliance and license inventory in the asset managmeent system KACE.
  • Maintain accurate updated documentation while performing essential job duties.
  • Understand ITSM framework and perform service requests and adhere to SLAs.
  • Assist other analysts with support, troubleshooting and fulfillment processes.
  • Participate in IT projects, own specifics tasks, work independently and provide accurate communication.
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned.


  • High School diploma or GED. Computer Information Systems or comparable job experience in Information Technology prefered.

Knowledge / training:

  • Knowledge of infrastructure and end computing devices and hardware.
  • Knowledge with operating systems - Windows 7, 10, 11, and Andriod and iOS phone devices.
  • Understanding of warehouse/shipping hardware, software, and printing.
  • Experience in application support, O365, SAP, SSO, LAN, WAN, VPN technologies
  • Knowledge around shipping, printing, logistics processes, and basic CAD software troubleshooting.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.


  • At least 2+ years experience in a support or IT Infrastructure Analyst type role.
  • 2+ years� experience in operating systems, application and hardware support.
  • Tier 1 technical support level of computers, printers, and applications.
  • Familiar with SAP functions, transactions and processes.
  • Experience working in projects, above average troubleshooting skills, self-starter, and highly motivated.
