Kforce's client, a world class software (SaaS) and digital media business, is seeking an Accounting Manager for its New York, NY headquarters. This is a company that is hoping to IPO in next 1-2 years. This is a business that has incredible complexity so you will put your accounting abilities to good use. This is a highly remote role - the group only meets in the office a few times a year. The accounting team is in the office once a Q currently.

Duties will include:

  • Accounting Manager will lead general ledger consolidation process

  • Financial reporting

  • Manage chart of accounts

  • Manage debt accounting

  • Month end close

  • As an Accounting Manager, you will verify FX and CTA activity

  • Revenue adjustments

  • Amortization entries

  • Equity adjustments

  • Prepare Income Statements, Balance Sheets and Statements of Cash Flows

  • Prepare financial statements for External Reporting

  • Maintain Integrity of Chart of Accounts

  • Maintain reporting hierarchies in multi entity global complex environment

  • Equity accounting

  • Debt accounting

  • Support audits

  • Research accounting pronouncements (US GAAP, IFRS, and SEC Regulations)

  • Develop staff

  • Support Corporate Controller in preparing for meetings and presentation

  • Balance sheet reconciliations


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting

  • CPA

  • Over 4 years of experience

  • Public accounting experience a plus

  • Experience in an SEC filing company a plus

  • Management experience a plus

The hourly or salary range at the top of this posting is the lowest to highest compensation range we, reasonably and in good faith, believe that we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and this range is applicable for jobs to be performed.
