SALARY:




$61,285 - $77,507




POSITION SUMMARY:



Assistant Program Manager will assist the Program Manager in all aspects of management, supervision, and oversight for the Solutions Center staff. This position will also include leading both staff and consumer groups and meetings, conducting supervision with staff, and one-to-one counseling with consumers. This individual will supervise night time and weekend employees and will be scheduled to ensure overlap with their team. May have some flexibility on schedule



ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:



  • Assist the Lead Program Manager

  • Maintain staff schedules

  • Lead team meetings

  • Provide clinical supervision to Licensed Clinicians, Mental Health Therapists, Residential Counselors, and Peer Specialists

  • Maintenance of all requirements for facility licensure and certifications, safety regulations, and required on-site records

  • Attend scheduled managerial trainings and meetings

  • Occasional on-call coverage to assist other residential program managers and in emergency situations

  • Maintain a trauma informed environment of wellbeing.

  • Other duties as assigned.




EDUCATION:



Master degree in social work, psychology, human services or related area


LPC, LCSW, or LMFT required. LAC preferred.



EXPERIENCE:



Some managerial experience including group and individual supervision experience a must, case management and residential experience preferred.



SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:



  • Knowledge or ability to learn and practice trauma informed principles and practices.

  • Ability to lead therapeutic consumer groups

  • Ability to assist individuals in moving forward in recovery

  • Knowledge and performance of evidence based practices in mental health

  • Knowledge and understanding of trauma-informed care principles/practices.




SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Licensed and un-licensed clinicians, Peer Specialists



MACHINES AND EQUIPMENT TO BE USED: Computer, telephone, facsimile, and other machines found in a residential facility.



TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Requires sitting, standing, bending, lifting. Must be able to perform a variety of household tasks, climb stairs, move throughout the house, and quickly respond to emergencies. May require lifting 50 pounds.



WORKING CONDITIONS: Must meet qualifications under Chapter 7 of the Residential Care Facilities - Mentally Ill requirements. Shift work and/or weekend work is required.
