What you'll do
We are seeking candidates with a Ph. D. with 5-10 years of experience performing multistep protein purification and analysis. Expertise in crafting and troubleshooting novel purification schemes is essential. Familiarity with multiple protein tags and their accurate application, including construct design and host selection, as well as downstream tag cleavage or modification is essential. Experience with handling proteins from multiple expression host systems and the relevant effects on the target protein is required. Experience with antibody structure and characterization is highly desirable Familiarity with protein and peptide MS/MS, label-free binding techniques such as Biacore, and sophisticated membrane protein handling is desirable. Good communication and documentation skills are essential. The candidate will be part of an interactive team with potential to supply to multiple pre-clinical programs in Cancer Biology, Autoimmunity and Inflammation and Infectious Diseases.
