Job Description:


PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Ensure that new and existing internal applications meet business requirements and goals, fulfill user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues.
  • Responsible for the development of new applications and/or enhancements to existing applications.
  • Ensure that development projects meet business requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues.
  • Work with the infrastructure team to deploy new internally developed applications
  • Identify and resolve application errors.

Experience and Education Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience (3+ years)
  • Good knowledge of HTML, CSS and high-performance JavaScript
  • Experience developing web-based applications using .NET (MVC, Core)
  • Comfortable working with and developing coding standards
  • Experience with Azure DevOps
  • Advanced SQL Server experience
  • Strong UI/UX skills

Education/Experience Preferred:

  • Experience with modern web frameworks
  • Experience with ETL technologies
  • Analytics programming experience with Python
  • Experience with container-based development environments using platforms such as Docker, Jenkins and Kubernetes
  • Strong back-end development skills ideally in Node.js and Express
  • Strong front-end experience, ideally with Vue, SASS and Bootstrap

Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • Excellent analytical skills and abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working in a distributed team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Travel as required (typically 0-20%)
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technology
