Sr. Media & Omnichannel Manager (Experienced Level Professional)

MISSION: Responsible for generating insight-driven strategies and working with Communications, Marketing and Sales team stakeholders across the organization to develop and optimize targeted campaigns aimed at driving profitable growth for the business. Defines the integrated campaign communication strategy for the MICHELIN brand inclusive of Passenger/Recreation, Ultra High Performance and Electric Vehicle line of business and ensures it is aligned with the marketing plan for B2C.

Integrated Marketing Communications Strategy & Planning

Develop integrated campaign strategies to deliver against annual brand and sales goals.

  • Oversee and facilitate the design of strategic communication plans and their alignment with Group and Region orientations.

  • Collaborate with marketing counterparts on the development of cohesive, multi-channel tactical plans tailored to business needs and objectives.

  • Lead communication strategy & activations across all touchpoints: paid media (traditional and digital), social media and email.

  • Establish campaign objectives, key activation strategies, audience + channel choices.

  • Drive coordination and implementation with cross-functional teams to ensure tight development of tactical plans back to overall campaign objectives by channel.

  • Drive cross-team communication on final plans during campaign launch and execution phase.

Paid Media

Conquest and retain high value consumers through the development of holistic paid media plans for the MICHELIN brand across brand and retail consumer touchpoints.

  • Plan and manage the advertising initiatives for Michelin North America.

  • Lead paid media planning and performance optimization supporting business goals from brand awareness through acquisition and retention.

  • Oversee paid channel strategy and activation including video/TV, audio, OOH/DOOH, paid social, paid search, programmatic display.

  • Act as a strategic resource for paid media activation.

  • In partnership with Integrated Marketing Manager, manage paid media budget including allocation of budget by program, partner, platform, etc. and ensure monthly, quarterly and annual reconciliation.

  • Optimize campaigns in partnership with agency teams and internal resources, to ensure the right message is delivered to the right audience to reach performance goals.

  • Provide strategic direction for all retailer specific media initiatives and ensure each strategy is aligned to brand media strategies as well as Marketing goals and objectives.

  • Define and create visibility into program level ROI of managed conversion media programs and develop strategic plans to optimize on an ongoing basis. This includes assessing/determining the impact of media efforts on sell-in/sell-out revenue.

Audience Strategy

Establish data-driven audience strategies in support of each activation across brand and retail channels.

  • Utilize 1st, 2nd and 3rd party tools to build targetable audiences across channels.

  • In collaboration with agency partners and internal stakeholders, build strategic retargeting roadmap for the brand inclusive of sequential messaging and DCO (Dynamic Content Optimization).

  • Work with CDP (Consumer Data Platform) and DMP (Data Management Platform) teams on audience building and consumer journey strategy mapping for implementation across channels.

  • Lead discussions with Retail Marketing Managers and key customers around data sharing, pixel tracking, and audience strategies for retail media activations.

Measurement & Insights

Measure campaign performance regularly in an attempt to improve ROI for the business.

  • Evaluates advertising program effectiveness.

  • Partner with analytics team to gather and analyze data (revenue, conversion rate, click thru rate, site metrics, etc.) to track campaign effectiveness and recommend optimizations to shape current and future strategies.

  • Synthesize real time campaign + channel results against business performance and generate hypotheses for executives and partners.

  • Establish and lead formal campaign hindsight process and work to establish clear benchmarks for campaign KPIs.

  • Conduct post-campaign analyses to identify key learnings and measure effectiveness against defined and aligned KPIs.

Agency Management

Lead agency, partner and internal relationships throughout the campaign ideation and execution process.

  • Foster relationships with partners/agencies to better coordinate with business initiatives/strategies and execution.

  • Manage agency partners and internal stakeholders to deliver best in class campaign execution across multiple channels, which may include TV, Digital, Social, CRM, Radio, OOH, Search.

  • Define and manage resource allocation across internal resources and agency partners to achieve business objectives.

  • Provide thought leadership / lead brainstorms and working sessions to inspire channel and agency partners to innovate and test new tactics and programs.

Business Perspective & Digital Engagement

Provide subject matter expertise within the paid media and digital activation space.

  • Proactively identify opportunities to drive brand growth and monitor industry for relevant news.

  • Create presentations that provide clear communication and strategic story telling for internal teams on all communications activities and represent communications in cross-functional meetings as needed.

  • Keep current with new and emerging digital media/consumption trends and apply learnings in order to keep Michelin at the forefront of marketing maturity.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Marketing Communications, or related field.

  • Min. 5-7 years relevant work experience.

  • Agency experience preferred, but not required.
