MISSION : The IT Platform Architect Lead will be the technical leader for application development for a global application that drives significant business for Michelin. This person is the standard bearer for modern application development and design and will implement industry standard processes within Michelin to deliver a quality application that is well tested while meeting critical delivery milestones.
KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS
Help define and lead the technical execution of a Global Enterprise Architecture Application.
Contribute industry standard processes and hold the development team accountable for meeting those standard processes for software development.
Understand modern application development with regard to cloud-based solutions.
Contribute to an Agile based product team that operates in a Scrum mode
Strong communication with the various partners involved in IT architecture (business, platforms or technical teams), especially with the network of architects and build teams. These teams will promote standardization, the emergence of good practices and, when appropriate, the reuse of existing IT solutions.
Ability to communication the added customer value of IT architecture and the missions and roles of IT architects to all partners.
Min. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. An MBA a plus but not required.
5-7 years of programming experience
Experience working within the Agile Scrum framework
Possesses outstanding analytical and conceptual thinking skills, ability to influence business teams and work closely with them to resolve acceptable solutions
Experience with creating modern application architecture for a Global Enterprise Application
Programming Languages - Java, Springboot
Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Microservices Architecture
Experience with Database Schema Design
Strong Teamwork and Leadership skills
