Location: Hartford, Connecticut
The Account Manager is responsible for achieving sales and margin goals and for developing relationships with accounts and prospects within a region assigned in the Activewear channel. Responsible for sales volume in
excess of $5 million.
Manage the relationship with existing accounts and develop new accounts to
ensure all Fruit of the Loom brands and product lines are sold and territory
sales and profit goals are met.
Continuously prospect for new business and new opportunities at existing
accounts to ensure opportunity sales funnel remains full. Interact with top
management at accounts and prospects weekly developing and growing strategic relationships.
Travel up to 50% of the month calling on existing and new accounts while
staying within budget.
Work closely with management of other departments within FTL to make
sure the accounts needs are met, while ensuring it is beneficial to FTL.
Complete necessary reporting including forecasting, CRM updates, sales
reports, return authorizations and other reports deemed necessary by
Ensure all areas of the organization and account team members are
adequately communicated to on account issues and needs and are providing
the very best service and communication to accounts.
College undergraduate degree required
Minimum Job Experience Required
3+ years of work experience in sales account management or a related area.
