Job Title: Business Systems Analyst – Finance

Reports to: Sr Manager – Shared Services

Location: Goleta, CA or Westlake Village, CA or Remote

The Role

Business Systems Analyst, Finance is an analytical person with great problem-solving abilities. The Business Systems Analyst will support the goals and IT strategies of Deckers by delivering Finance initiatives for end users. A strong candidate for this role is Business focused, technology savvy, can communicate at all levels in the organization and thrives in an environment with constantly changing priorities. The Role serves the needs of the Global Business and can work with teams in multiple regions.

Your Impact

The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:

  • Act as a BSA Finance, in partnership with internal departments and third parties, delivering technology solutions that meet the system and process needs of Deckers Brands

  • Collaborate on solution delivery with IT Solution Design Team and supporting the delivery phase through to implementation.

  • Support the day-to-day work of the Finance, Tax and MDM functions by troubleshooting and helping with the systems that have been implemented.

  • Create Design Documents, working with Development and QA Teams to deliver and deploy the solution to Production.

  • Someone who is effectively able to collaborate with Technical Teams, TMO, Business Analysts and Business SMEs.

  • An efficient communicator with the ability to articulate key technical concepts in clear and concise manner to the Business community.

  • Skilled in Relationship management and cross-functional partnership.

  • A quick learner and a problem solver who is passionate about solving complex Business problems.

  • Inquisitive and constantly seeking the unknown.

We’d love to hear from people with

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in Oracle Financial modules-AP, AR, GL, FA, Cash Management and eBTax

  • Good to have knowledge on Project Costing, Cost Management, and Inventory modules

  • An experienced professional with exposure to Oracle E Business Suite.

  • Exposure to any of the following third party systems is good to have: Vertex, OneSource, Concur, Lucernex and Virtual Trader

  • A degree in Information Systems, Finance or similar field of study, or equivalent experience.

  • A deep understanding of Oracle EBS Data Models in the Finance area.

  • Able to write SQL queries, read and understand code when needed.

  • Experience in a Retail Industry is preferred
