Job Summary:

Reporting the IFP Dental Lead, this role is key to operationalizing product administration and GTM processes for IFP dental products while ensuring IFP dental customers receive an experience reflective of appropriate regulatory requirements and industry best practices. This role leads collaboration across business units to ensure all supporting business processes for internal partners and customers are aligned.

Core Responsibilities:


  • Organize, prioritize and facilitate actions to support the IFP dental business strategy.

  • Partner and collaborate with key partners across the organization (including within IFP, Dental Product, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Operations, Actuarial, Marketing, etc.) to communicate dental product specifics and operational guidance to drive appropriate results.

  • Identify and remove barriers to providing exceptional customer experience to IFP dental customers to ensure communications and customer experiences are dental appropriate and, where possible, in line with industry best practices. Make recommendations for improvements.

  • Lead and manage changes to business processes to align with individual dental regulatory requirements and industry best practices and to ensure alignment of business rules processes within IFP and key stakeholders.

  • Responsible for ensuring dental products are operationally ready prior to launch including providing product expertise in support of GTM preparations.

  • Responsible for the coordination of planning of activities across partners for dental product related activities (pricing, renewals, form changes, product launches, etc.)

  • Responsible for providing written feedback/direction for marketing and training materials with regard to product and process.

  • Responsible for maintaining competitive intelligence

  • Develop and implement communication and reporting mechanisms to manage issues, risks, and timely delivery of results.

  • Facilitate/lead highly efficient meetings and processes to drive meaningful results for the IFP dental products.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Demonstrated success in program or project management

  • Bachelor's degree preferred


  • 7 years of experience in health insurance with at least 3 years in dental insurance (individual dental insurance preferred) with a working knowledge/exposure to insurance operations, state and federal regulatory compliance, product development, pricing and implementation, and marketing or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Demonstrated experience leading business process improvement and change management

  • Demonstrated ability to influence, organize, and collaborate to drive meaningful results

  • Significant customer focus, with an ability to implement both routine and complex processes to ensure our customers have an exceptional experience

  • General knowledge and understanding of both federal and state regulations for individual dental (ACA and non-ACA)

  • Detail oriented and a willingness to follow a process from beginning to end

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and successfully develop relationships with team members lead groups within a matrixed environment to decision-making

  • Demonstrated ability to create, manage, and deliver on key actions items

  • Strong communication skills across channels, including effective facilitation of meetings

  • Strong financial, analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills

  • Understanding of Cigna systems and structures to support the product is valued

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 78,300 - 130,500 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
