ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs all guest request and general maintenance repairs in a professional manner and with a high level of workmanship and skill. Good communication with guests is always mandatory and expected. Hang banners as requested. Keep guest request parts room and light bulb room areas clean, organized and well stocked. Report excessive amounts of out of order televisions to the manager. Work on assigned work orders whenever not performing a guest request call. (Door locks, furniture repair, changing of filters). Respond to guest calls within 15 minutes or pass on call to next mechanic or call guest back with update. Have working knowledge of risers in building, electrical distribution rooms, all toilet and faucet parts, TV and cable systems and air conditioning units. Responsible for the maintenance and repair of table games equipment including but not limited to gaming tables, the installation of layouts and other table games equipment. Report to manager any supplies, materials and or tools needed to perform their assigned duties. Comprehend and adhere to guest needs, policies and procedures as defined in the handbook and department directives. Performs all other duties as assigned. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Indiana Grand Casino policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards, and Indiana Gaming Regulations.

QUALFICATIONS

High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of one to two (1-2) years experience in general maintenance; or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience. Must be able to obtain an Indiana Gaming License.

Must have a high school education or equivalent. General mechanical knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, electrical and air conditioning. Must be at least 18 years of age or older and be able to obtain an Indiana Gaming License.
