An outstanding hospital in the San Jose area is in search of a new Emergency Department RN Manager. 

This hospital has earned numerous awards for units throughout their facility.  In addition, this 300+ bed hospital is accredited in many areas, but notably has a glowing record in their Emergency Services.  The emergency department received performance achievement awards as well as being named one of the best hospitals in the Bay Area. The Emergency Department RN Manager will join an organization with an outstanding reputation in the community and across the Pacific Northwest. 

The Emergency Department RN Manager will report directly to the Nurse Director of Emergency Services. Supported by several tenured charge nurses,  this person will lead a fantastic team and busy department with over 70 FTEs. 

The Emergency Department RN Manager will be in charge of overseeing that care provided by nurses is efficient and thorough.  This involves keeping staff up to date with current best practices and making sure they are following guidelines set by the hospital. In addition, the position requires collaboration with the Director to achieve the highest level of operational and clinical efficiency that aligns with the hospital’s standards and values. The Emergency Department RN Manager will also have opportunities to develop their staff through education and quality improvement initiatives.
