Reporting to the Vice President, Small Business Product Management, this role will be responsible for product development and the ongoing system management of Chubb’s Commercial Auto policy/rating platform. 

This position will work within an agile team and will be the product expert, taking the lead on prioritizing, developing, coordinating, maintaining, and implementing product and system enhancements for Chubb’s Commercial Auto product. 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ongoing product and system maintenance including regular updates to system supported regulatory rules, enhancements to underwriting rules, loss cost updates, and ISO circular updates


• Establish organization and prioritization of product changes, system enhancement, and defects.


• Work with various parties including the Auto Product Development, State Management, or Actuarial/Pricing to drive product enhancements including new coverages, segment expansions, and improvements to Chubb’s online strategic quoting platform for Small Business Auto


• Product oversight for system quality and UAT testing


• Work with Regulatory to monitor state legislative changes and ensure system product, rules, forms, underwriting, and business practices are compliant with state laws


• Coordinate with IT, Filings Team, Auto Product Development lead, and our ISO Maintenance lead on all product changes that require state filings.

In Jersey City, NJ the pay range for the role is $106,500 to $176,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree


• Strong knowledge of ISO’s Commercial Auto Product or Personal Lines Auto Product


• Prior experience managing a hybrid proprietary/ISO Auto product a plus


• Must have 5+ years’ Product Development/Management experience in Commercial Auto or Personal Auto Lines


• Must have prior experience overseeing or managing an insurance policy/rating platform


• Previous experience working with IT development for product changes; this includes development of business specifications and helping prioritize product release items


• Experience with Agile methodology to deliver product/IT updates


• Strong critical thinking skills, maintains thorough attention to detail
