Michael Baker is actively seeking Interns for the Linthicum (Baltimore), Maryland office. As a part of our team, the Intern will assist a specific department or various departments in technical duties and projects as assigned.

DESCRIPTION


  • Prepare engineering related calculations and develop drawings and visual aids.
  • Assist engineers and/or inspectors with various tasks.
  • Work under supervision of a staff engineer or project manager.
  • Assist with data collection, input, verification, and manipulation

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS


  • Enrolled as Junior of Sophomore in pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of secondary completed coursework in students' field of study.
  • Excellent English language skills, written and verbal, are essential to success in this role.
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office. AutoCAD or MicroStation design software experience may be preferred depending on department.
  • Ability to perform duties in the field may be required depending on department.

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this position is $15.00/hr.-$30.00/hr.
