DESCRIPTION

Our Ocean Springs, MS office is seeking a Civil Engineering Associate. The Civil Engineering Associate will primarily be responsible for design, development and management of general civil related projects including roadway design, underground utilities, water resources, and a variety of infrastructure projects. You will leverage your engineering knowledge and skills to prepare basic studies, construction documents, drawing, maps, reports and supporting documentation and calculations.

You'll prepare quantities and construction cost estimates, technical reports and construction drawings as well as coordinating with technicians to ensure timely and accurate document and drawing preparation.

On some days, you will make field visits to project sites to investigate, record, and photograph local conditions.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• 0-4 years of experience with technical work related to the design and development of infrastructure projects
• EI working towards PE certification
• Ability to work on multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously and assist in the preparation of reports, plans and designs for projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of products.
• Experience with design related software including AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, Inroads, Open Roads or similar type design software.

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this position is $56,886 - $118,527.
