The Senior Manager will lead the US Field Marketing team in executing its objectives; effectively launch new products, drive therapy development and expansion to increase market penetration, and increase patient access to OAB / FI through referral pathway and market development efforts. The Senior Manager will work closely with senior commercial leadership to ensure alignment with the activities of the Field Marketing team. This role will oversee setting the field marketing team strategy, analyze the business impact of these programs, and provide the right program visibility to leadership.

This role is open to remote within the continental United States for well-qualified candidates. Travel up to 50%

A Day in the Life
Lead Field Marketing Team


  • Instill frameworks and collaborative culture to ensure team execution of principle objectives:

    • Partner with Global Downstream Marketing team and US Sales team to successfully launch new products to achieve revenue / proforma commitments and drive market share gain
    • Drive therapy development and expansion to increase market penetration, through awareness efforts, fellowships, training, etc., across the entire Pelvic Health portfolio
    • Increase patient access to OAB / FI through referral pathway and market development efforts, implementing coordinated and targeted programs in partnership with the Sales team
    • Work in concert with Marketing, Sales leadership, Legal and Compliance to implement high-profile programs and initiatives
    • Reinforce and undergird strong team relationships with KOLs and VIP physicians
  • Act as support liaison with senior commercial leadership to enable completion of objectives

Representing Medtronic Pelvic Health

  • Establish strong relationships with KOLs and VIP physicians, striving for an institutional program by driving a partnership framework through collaboration with Global Marketing and Medical Education
  • Develop and maintain relationships with the sales organization, HCPs and key practice or hospital staff
  • Interface with multiple levels in healthcare organizations, including clinicians, staff, and administrators, to help drive awareness and adoption of programs and initiatives
  • Partner with local Sales representation and management to attend and represent Medtronic Pelvic Health at trade shows and conferences
  • Travel to meet with HCPs, and customer representatives (in healthcare facilities or other venues) to discuss Marketing initiatives

Internal Communication, Partnerships & Alignment

  • Establish strong relationships with senior commercial leadership, including Sales, Global Marketing, and Medical Education
  • Ensure strong leadership alignment with, and support of, programs, initiatives, and product launches
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations representing the progress of programs, initiatives, and product launches

Ensure Team Understanding and Application of Data & Technology

  • Synthesize market and revenue data to identify relevant trends which inform strategic opportunity identification
  • Ensure the team makes full use of digital marketing tools, sales enablement tools, CRM, etc., to ensure strong communication and awareness, both internally and externally
  • Track, measure, analyze and report marketing program impact to critical internal and external stakeholders
  • Optimize resource allocations for future / potential expansion or redeployment of the team through the understanding of program analytics

Ensure Consistency & Adherence to Policies / Guidelines

  • Ensure the team and its output adheres to established guidance and policies associated with promotional labeling
  • Drive leverage and consistency through standardized deployments of programs & initiatives, yet allow for flexibility where necessary to optimize outcomes
  • Work in close partnership and communicate regularly with sales management and sales reps to maintain consistency in program targets and scope
  • Ensure the team complies with all applicable laws and regulations, the AdvaMed Code of Ethics on Interactions with Healthcare Professionals, and company policies

Must Have: Minimum Requirements


  • Bachelors degree required
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in a Marketing or Sales role, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Marketing or Sales
  • 5+ years of management experience in people, program or project management

  • Demonstrated success in Sales or Commercial leadership
  • Experience in direct people management
  • Experience partnering at the senior leadership level
  • Excellent planning, project management, and analytical skills
  • Experience partnering with legal, and compliance partners
  • Experience building relationships with key customers, physicians / KOLs
  • Understanding of Pelvic Health's products and disease states treated
  • Established relationships with Pelvic Health KOLs and VIP physicians
  • Medtronic Pelvic Health Marketing, Sales or Sales Leadership experience
  • Project management experience
  • Worked with or has experience interacting with a broad sales force
  • Multi-level interaction with hospital clinicians, staff, and executives
  • Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills - including experience presenting / in-servicing with customers
  • Strong clinical background through either clinical or business applications
  • Creative, persistent, and strategic thinker
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Must be detailed-oriented and organized
  • Self-driven and able to work independently
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs
