About the position: The person in this position provides telephone and face-to-face contact with persons seeking services, provides screening and referrals, and completes CRC's admissions process.  The duties of this position include completing paperwork with guardians and clients, register patients in CRC’s computer system, and contacting insurance companies for precertification information and performs other duties as assigned to support the Admissions Department of CRC. The position also works to establish and maintain a trauma-informed milieu for consumers and family members receiving treatment services.

  • Shift: 11:30 pm - 7:30 am


  • FLSA Status: Non-Exempt


Minimum Qualifications and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree OR an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting four years of relevant experience for the required education.

Special Requirements: 

  • Upon a condition offer of employment, Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services applicants must submit to a physical examination and shall meet the physical examination requirements of occasionally lifting/carrying 65 pounds and able to push and pull a maximum force of 25 pounds

About the Facility: Children’s Recovery Center of Oklahoma (CRC) is in Norman, Oklahoma, and serves all 77 counties in Oklahoma as the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) treatment center for young people ages 13 through 17.  CRC provides community crisis stabilization and residential treatment for substance abuse and co-occurring mental health and trauma related conditions.
