RESPONSIBILITIES
The National Security Agency's (NSA) Gifted and Talented (G&T) Language Program is only open to high school seniors. The program is designed for high school students who have demonstrated an aptitude for Language in Russian. This program provides a tremendous opportunity to gain valuable experience in Foreign Language. This is a paid 12 week internship at NSA Alaska in Anchorage, Alaska that runs from mid-May to mid-August following high school graduation.
PAY BENEFITS & WORK SCHEDULE
Salaries for all G&T students are set at a GG 02/01. The annual, full-time salary for this grade level is $22,682 not including locality. Receive annual leave, sick leave and paid federal holidays. If accepted into the program students are to work full time 40 hours per week for 10 - 12 weeks during the summer months following their senior year of high school. Applicants interested in the Gifted & Talented program at NSA Alaska must reside within commuting distance of the duty station for the temporary appointment for which they are applying. Travel and Housing reimbursements are not provided.
