Ability to read tool designs and translate into required build steps.
Ability to work with tool designers to understand and contribute to tool designs and problem-solving activities.
Ability to understand pneumatic diagrams and plumb EOAT to match
Ability to understand basic wiring diagrams and principals. Wire EOATs to match required EOAT content.
Basic machining skills and the ability to operate shop equipment (mills, saws, drilling equipment, and hand tools).
Mechanical aptitude and ability to quick build and assemble EOAT.
Maintain and organize inventory required for Tool Builds
Use Microsoft Excel to coordinate tracking EOAT tool build progress.
Maintain a library of completed projects.
Prioritize activities based on workload and schedule their own time for maximum efficiency of the build process.
Required Qualifications
3-8 years of job history in machining / fabrication.
Must understand and use Windows applications.
Must be able to access computer files, navigate to required designs, and manipulate data files.
Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced machining and fabrication skills (CNC mills, welding)
Experience with CAD program manipulation and basic mechanical design skills.
Knowledge of plastic injection molding machines and the processing environment around their function.
Basic understanding of PLC / SLC logic and the use of PNP / NPN sensors.
