The Inpatient PACU RN Assistant Director will report to the Senior Director of Perioperative Services. The Assistant Director will also work closely with and be supported by outstanding Assistant Nurse Managers as well as multiple Charge Nurses and tenured RN’s. This person will also have the opportunity to communicate and interact with a group of professional and engaged surgeons and anesthesiologists. 

The Assistant Director will oversee a bustling department with more than 15 beds and over 60 employees. The Inpatient PACU RN Assistant Director will have the opportunity to ensure the surgical department’s clinical and administrative success. The Assistant Director will act as a liaison between the surgery department and various other departments throughout the hospital to verify smooth departmental transitions for patients receiving surgery. This person will also work closely with Perioperative Clinical Educators and other leadership members within the department to maintain the department and ensure policies and regulations are being met. The Assistant Director will also support the Director by being an integral part of managing fiscal duties, supply chain, and staffing for the PACU.
