The CLS and MLT Medical Laboratory Technologists will join a hospital that offers a wide array of inpatient and outpatient services to the region. Cardiovascular Services and Neurosciences, Orthopedics and Rehabilitation, Wound Care and Oncology – all are available at the outstanding medical centers and Physician Practices around the beautiful lake and river lands of Eastern Texas. 

Reporting to the Regional Outpatient Laboratory Operations and Technical Manager, the Ambulatory Laboratory MLT or CLS will perform a diverse set tasks in keeping the Lab functions of these practices and outpatient labs running smoothly. Operationally, this person will work to improve service standards for both internal and external customers, and will play a significant role in keeping activities for the Clinical Laboratories organized.

An Ambulatory MLT will take responsibility for Clinical aspects of Laboratory operations including specimen collection, processing, and analysis. This side of the role will primarily occur in the Blood Banking section, but the MLT may be asked to support work in Microbiology as well.

Working alongside pathologists, microbiologists, cytologists, and histologists, the Ambulatory Clinical Laboratory Scientists (CLS) will be immersed in a culture and environment where learning and growth are a natural part of the job.
