This role is perfect for the person who will support customer requests for information about products and services, requests for quotes or pricing and to process orders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Utilize architectural drawings and specifications, shop drawings or elevation take-offs to provide detailed estimates utilizing company specific software.


• Provide consultation, coordination, and assistance to internal and external customers on pricing and lead times.


• Greet customers and answer incoming calls in a professional manner with a positive attitude.


• Provide pricing of change orders and backorders to insure accurate invoicing


• Provide detailed estimates to our customers in a timely manner. Work from architectural drawings and specifications, shop drawings or elevation take-offs


• Follow up on estimates and provide feedback concerning market pricing levels


• Enter orders, door fab sheets, metal requests, and assist walk in customers


• Review material requirements of new orders and place P.O.'s when necessary to support production.


• Any other related functions assigned or deemed necessary by management.


• Regular and predictable attendance, safely perform tasks and adherence to all safety policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of high school education.


• Accurate data entry experience utilizing a computer keyboard.


• Sales focused mindset.


• Be available to work normal business hours (8-5) and overtime when required.


• Possess general knowledge of design principles in the construction industry and read architectural plans and specifications.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform light hand activity work at a computer workstation in a controlled climate office environment


• Ability to wear required safety equipment, including safety boots with metatarsal guards when in the manufacturing area.

Job Preferences

• Post-Secondary education or comparable experience in an engineering, manufacturing or construction related field.


• Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD software a plus.


• Proficient in the use of a personal computer and all Microsoft Office programs.


• Excellent written and verbal communication.


• Interact with others in a courteous, professional manner.


• Highly self-motivated and able to work with others in a fast-paced environment.


• Strong organizational abilities with good follow-up skills.


• Ability to follow established policies and procedures.


• Desire to solve problems by gathering data and make sound business decisions.
