Function/Duties of Position

***$10,000 Sign-On Bonus ***

The Radiologic Technologist's role is to provide quality images with accuracy and efficiency using optimal skills and knowledge of all equipment. RT's gather complete documentation of all pertinent information to provide accurate, safe and timely service to the customers. RT's provide for personal and patient care and safety using professional judgment in accordance with written standards so there is no injury to self or others.

Radiologic Technologists should practice professional communication; appearance; conduct; punctuality; attendance, and attitude that leads to physician, patient and co-worker respect and confidence. Technologists will be trained in all general radiology exams/areas so that they are able to rotate through the department based on workflow needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be ARRT registered and OBMI licensed.
  • Must have a current, approved BLS card.
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited diagnostic radiography program.
  • Must have demonstrated skills in the following areas:
    • Performing diagnostic imaging studies
    • Radiation safety
    • Effective use of equipment
    • Record maintenance
    • Contrast media
    • Infection control
    • Quality control
    • Compliance
  • Additionally, must have developed competency in:
    • Patient communication
    • Problem solving & judgment
    • Teamwork & taking initiative
