Regional Sales Manager - West, Food Service
Remote, preferred locations: Dallas, TX, Denver, CO, California
How You Will Make Contributions That Matter...
The successful candidate will develop and expand sales for Saputo Dairy Foods. He/she will be responsible for a defined list of accounts in the Food Service, West territory. Responsibilities of this role will focus on the following activities to drive incremental growth and profit in Saputo Dairy Foods product categories:
Responsible for assigned Core Food Service accounts. Owns the corporate customer relationships
Responsible for meeting assigned account(s)'s annual volume plan, profit plan, and subsequent quarterly forecast
Responsible for planning and prioritizing customer initiatives for execution and coordination
Oversee category management initiatives at the Region and customer level.
Gain multi-level and multi-functional account penetration
Conduct quarterly business reviews with assigned customers and relationship building
Negotiate field based sales trade strategies and marketing programs
Provide competitive market intelligence and feedback on new products launches
Maintain clear communication with Sales Operations on opportunities and challenges within customers
Maximize sales margins by monitoring/assisting with A/R, credit issues, deductions, samples, etc.
You Are Best Suited For The Role If You....
Education - preferred, not required, BS/BA Degree in related area
Experience - 5 plus years directly related experience in the Foods Industry in any related exposure. Must have an understanding of the Core Customer Private Label value proposition
Knowledge, skills and abilities should include: negotiation, presentation, management, communication, analytical, planning, and measurement
40% - 60% travel. This role will cover multiple Western states
